Flagship Project
A Refrigerated Outdoor Rink at Wahconah Park
Pittsfield, MA
The Berkshire Hockey Foundation raised $260,000 to fund a refrigerated outdoor skating rink at the historic Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, MA. This landmark project expands access to skating and hockey for the entire Berkshire community — removing the barrier of weather and opening the ice to anyone who wants to play, learn, or simply skate.
"A refrigerated rink means more ice time, more seasons, and more opportunities for kids and families who've never had reliable access to the sport we love."
